Mouth Cancer Screening

Mouth cancer kills more people that cervical cancer and testicular cancer combined. 87% of UK cases occur in people aged 50 or over. Early detection transforms survival chances to more than 90%.
All of our patients who attend regularly will have as a matter of routine a visual examination of soft tissues in the mouth to detect anything early changes which may need further examination or referral to a specialist.

A visual examination in combination with assessing your lifestyle is a good indicator of risk.
